Mexico Reaches Out to Raise Real Estate Standards for Buyers and Sellers
USA Real Estate Investors Look to Mexico as the Next Great Opportunity
For the first time ever, the U.S. National Association of Realtors
(NAR) is embarking on an international joint venture. The cooperative
agreement with the agency’s Mexican counterpart, the Asociacion
Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobiliarios (AMPI, or Mexican Association
of Real Estate Professionals) seeks to achieve greater uniformity in
the U.S. and Mexico real estate industries.
Under the agreement, the two agencies will exchange business standards.
AMPI benefits by receiving NAR membership and permission to use the NAR
logo and trademark. The union will assure customers that AMPI follows a
U.S.-style code of ethics, plus the logo will help the Mexican agency
seem familiar to Americans.
NAR members get something out of the deal, too, of course. They are
eager to learn about real estate opportunities in Mexico from their
peers at the AMPI. NAR recognizes that more and more Americans (and
Mexicans living in the U.S.) are making the move to Mexico.

Playa del Carmen Playa Del Carmen is a strong growing investment market.
Hello from Playa del Carmen to all our friends and clients.
By Shawn Bandick
What an experience it is to live and work in Playa Del Carmen. I was recently told by a friend and client that the Guinness book of records just put Playa del Carmen as the fastest growing town on the planet. The article is also on the Yahoo Travel Site check this link
We see first hand evidence of this every day.
Benito Juarez ave has been repaved with nice side walks and palm trees planted in the center median. Fifth avenue has been extended through the Colosio. Tenth avenue has also been rebuilt all the way through the Colosio it has double lanes with a median down the center. There are new stop lights on the major intersection all over town even 34th street has lights at the high way now which is going a long way to help ease the traffic coming and going from down town.

Mexican government Busy Master-Planning Future Resort Destinations
Time matters in Mexico. The slow, easy, languid kind which wraps you in a comfort zone of no hurry, all is well, manana is soon enough. Relax. This is your holiday.
That calming mood has returned to the Yucatan Peninsula, where Cancun, Cozumel and the Riviera Maya were buffeted by high winds and copious amounts of rain for 63 hours when category five Hurricane Wilma lingered too long in October, 2005.
Mexican serenity morphed into intense deadlines for several months with owners and employees, residents and developers determined to renew hotels and beaches, restaurants and shops, nightspots and breakfast places.
