Isla Mujeres Golf - A new golf resort is planned for Isla Mujeres, the Playa Mujeres Resort is located just north of Cancun. Isla Mujeres will feature 36 holes of ecologically-friendly championship golf - designed by Greg Norman, with carefully crafted water holes, hills, jungles, roughs, bunkers, greens and other elements of the courses utilizing a re-arrangement of the site's native plants, trees and other indigenous foliage. Construction of the first 20 holes, the practice range, and the clubhouse is in progress and scheduled for opening in fall 2005.
