Yesterday was actually quite a lot busier than day one as it was Saturday. The doors here at the expo open each day from 11am to 8pm in the evening. Today is the last day of the expo for 2007 and because it is Sunday everyone is anticipating it to be the biggest of the three day event. As the show came to a close last evening I was able to quickly grab some overhead photos of the expo floor.
I spent most of yesterday doing interviews travelling form booth to booth really focusing on the folks that are promoting projects in the Riviera Maya. I tried to keep each interview brief as it seemed each time I would come to a booth and begin an interview that particular booth would become overrun with people. It was very interesting chatting with the various exhibitors and hearing their opinions on what people at the expo are saying and what they think about Mexico real estate in the Riviera Maya. I would like to apologize in advance as the sound quality was not as good as usual due to some microphone problems. You can still hear the information and get a feel for what is happening at the expo.

I also attended a conference given by E. David Selva and Bob McCain of Caribe Properties. This one hour presentation covered all aspects of the investment and growth potential in Cancun, Playa Del Carmen, Cozumel, and all of the Riviera Maya. It should the growth pattern of the whole area and then they speicially drilled down on Playa Del Carmen showing how it has been one of the fastest growing communities in the entire world for several years now.
I also had a quick visit with Mario Aviles, the National AMPI President, who was the keynote speaker for the opening of the Bienes Raices 2007 event. Today I am hoping to catch up with him one more time for a short podcast interview if his schedule will allow it. I will follow this series of reports after the expo comes to close this evening.--Bill Mabra, Editor, Riviera Maya Real Estaste News
